Meet the Team

Founder & CEO
Sory Keita
After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry from the Faculty of Science and Techniques in Mali—while also playing professional soccer—he began his career at the age of 23 as an Entomologist in Siby. This first role marked the beginning of his journey in public health and scientific research. Determined to deepen his expertise, he pursued advanced studies in France, specializing in medical entomology, before returning to Mali to focus on malaria research and control.
Later, he moved to Los Angeles, where he founded SK Soccer Elite & Fit and works with multiple private schools as a head coach. Through this work, he combines his background as a professional player with a passion for youth development, helping young athletes grow in both skill and discipline.
Despite living abroad he has never forgotten where he came from—especially the difficult realities faced by children in Siby. This inspired him to create One Meal A Day Incorporated , a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting childhood hunger by providing one nutritious meal a day to school children and building sustainable solutions that improve growth, education and opportunity in the village of Siby.
